Sorry for being uncommunicative. I was waiting for something definitive to report. Peter's still in the hospital. The cellulitis is just about gone, but there are some problems with liver and kidney. The doc thinks they are probably caused by dehydration. He says there's no cause for alarm, but he's pumping fluids into him and monitoring Peter's vital signs. Anyway, it looks like Pete will spend New Year's Eve in Kaiser-Permanente, a happening place. If he's lucky, he might get to celebrate with some of that isopropyl alcohol, 70% proof (for external use only). Elmer
