Thanks. I had forgotten about "Goodnight, Ladies" (That one is over a century old but, perhaps, familiar because Meridith Wilson wove it into the score for "The Music Man"). Sure, we used Woodie's "So Long, It's Been Good To Know You" as a last song as well as Leadbelly's "Goodnight, Irene". Every prom at every school closed with "Goodnight, Sweetheart". There were other non alcoholic ta-ta tunes. Most of the summer camps I have worked at had some variation of "Friends, Friends, Friends, We Will Always Be", the singing of which meant we were out of marshmellows. Mike
