Lamplighter Bar, Oakthorpe hotel, in Windermere every Wednesday night from 9ish. Great musicians, some singing and will let you if you ask. Good food and ale.
Fox and Hounds @ Coalburns near Prudhoe in Northumberland, every Sunday night, nice and laid back.
Cumberland Arms, Byker (newcastle upon Tyne) most nights there is something happening live music wise
