I thought my interest in vinyl was at an end... until my wife bought me a new USB turntable for Christmas!

This gizmo is a normal belt-drive turntable with RCA plugs to connect to your sound system. But it also has a pre-amp and USB cable! Packaged with Audacity and SoundSoap, I am now able to transfer and enhance my old albums/45's/78's/tapes, then take them to whatever audio format I wish. I'm choosing MP3 Pro at the moment for convenience and file size.

Am I now rummaging through second hand stores for old albums? You bet I am!
