Too bad it's not a "real" Recording King, a vintage brand used by (I think) Stromberg Voisonet (sp?) which later became Kay. Well, whoever made 'em, they were good 'uns. Though they didn't make many 5-strings, just tenors (it being the era of the tenor banjo, the 20s). Of the modern ones, I know nothing. Bob
