Can anyone explain what use Jonathon Davies (Rugby Union Commentator ) is for.
I hear his whining voice and within 5 seconds the mute button is pressed and I watch in the game in silence. It would not be so bad but he knows 'sod all' about Rugby of either code.

I expect the BBC will have him commentating on March 17th when we English do to the Welsh what we have done for centuries i.e. stuff-em.

Now on a lighter note the following tale was told to me by an official of the football club involved. No names to spare blushes and possible legal action

The club Bolton... S**t!@*! ,offered auditions to supporters to fill the role of match commentators for a local radio station. The shortlist of four were given the job of covering a tense local derby. The opposition scored after 4 minutes of the kick off and held that lead until 25 minutes into the second half the team I love were awarded a free kick 25 yards out from the 'gitfaces' goal. When the hopeful commentator saw the player who was going to take the free kick he said " I don't believe this, our No1 freekick taker has given the ball to 'X' and he has missed the last 4 free kicks he has taken". Of course 'X' bent the ball around the defending 'gitface' wall and stuck it into the top RH corner of the net.
Joy abounding !!. In the 89th minute Bolton...S**t!@*! again were awarded another free kick 30 yards out. The commentator said "Now who will take this one...I just do not believe
this "X' is going to............F**K me! he's done it again!!"

Did he get the job ??
