Bovril is still avail. here in Oz but getting harder to find. The food wholesalers here have to pay the supermsrket chains a "shelf rental", just to get their products on the shelf. The wholesalers have to balance out their unit sales per rental of so many square centimeters of shelf.
Bovril is not a big seller so, gradually, it will disappear from supermarket shelves and will have to be sought from smallgoods type delicatessens.
