Why is it that the head of CN had to step down over this, and Boston got what, $2,000,000 as a settlement, when it was the stupid overreaction of the police and mayor that caused the problem in the first place? If anyone should resign, it should be them. I know a few Bostonians, and they're quite embarassed at their home town at this point. Especially with the mayor acting like they "learned their lesson." What lesson? Don't place obvious toys in US cities because the ones run by morons will think they're a terrorist attack (two or three weeks after they were initially put up). It was a pretty stupid ad campaign, but the stupidity of the campaign is dwarfed by the stupidity of Mayor Menino.
