In our house TV/Video remote controls are 'Spizzers'

This dates back to our daughters days at University where she had a mini-Hi Fi system where one button was identified by the initials SPSS . WE did not know what it meant,indeed we still do not so it was called the 'spizzer'.


Also when condensation forms on the inside of our car window it has been known for the past 40 years as 'Harf'. From "Who has Harfered on this window"

I don't think that there is any other insanity in our family.
