I was told I was a candidate for Diabetes so I went on a low carb, high fiber diet. I never went hungry. I have lost 8 inches from my waist over a 3 year period but I have been stuck on a plateau for a year. I need to cut down on the volume as well as carbs. Low carb diets are becoming passé and the low carb foods are getting harder and harder to find but a low carb diet works, period. I think it is essential to not weigh yourself, Use the fit of clothes to gage your weight loss. Weighing leads to disapointments and giving up. And the slower you loose it, the more likely it is that you will keep it off.
