I agree, SINSULL; let's go hide! Seriously, though, I don't understand the rationale, but then we're not the creator or the writers, and who knows what pressure they're under. Someone on another site hinted that Shonda Rhimes (is that how it's spelled?) likes to shake things up. This is my first exposure to her...although, who knows if she worked behind the scenes on something else. One of the television critics on our local paper said today that he hoped they did kill off Meredith since he feels she's the weakest link - my words not his. I'll admit, it took me a while to warm up to her character, but if she wasn't semi-comatose (my words,) she'd be just as whacky as all of the other interns. I'd miss her; besides, having seen her mother in action...in and out of Alzheimer's...I'd say she's probably clinically depressed, and rightly so. Now, I'm an amateur psychologist.
