strangely chumbawamba did do a knitting song...

it was a long time ago in thier more rock and roll days and it was called "knit your own balaclava" and the lyrics were knit one, pearl one etc etc and went on to give all the instructions needed to create the aforementioned head gear !

As they are headlining on Sat you could ask them for a special request in honour of our new sponsors !

re picture drome - i have just got back from Holmfirth, and can tell you Pete now has put a mini banner up and has a couple of bands that will be playing over the weekend- inc a Nick Drake sound alike act. Pete did work hard on the 2006 festival and i wish him all the best.

With all the rumours and unknowns we deciced we would have to go back to the Civic for the Saturday bigger events- i dont think the fact that there is now stuff on at the Picturedrome is a problem tho. The campsite is open to all and the more people in the town the better - hope any one comming to the picturedrome gigs will come early or stay late and see what else is cooking.

also just read the local rag and someone has suggested Cragrats take on the 'drome as a project.. now there is an interesting idea.

Be good to think it would still be a useable venue in 2008.

finally Carol is now in a flap re dance sides as think we have reached capacity - i disagree and if people mail me not her re invites i am sure we can fit you all in ! cant have too much of a good thing me thinks
