able BS: What the hell got into Canada? (27) RE: BS: What the hell got into Canada? 05 Mar 07

I saw Paul Hellyer speak on UFO's, and the obviously less intelligent female moderator all but called him a nut. I have never seen a ufo, and the fact that 75% of the sightings are made by women doesn't increase my confidence. The simple fact is, most sightings are made by people with no technical knowledge. They can't explain it, therefor it is a spaceship. From my own experience, what I can say is that there has been an explosion in technology, most of which doesn't seem to have a logical root. I learned electronics in the days of tube technology, the transistor had just been invented, and after that, everything cut loose at such a rapid rate that you could spend all day everyday, trying to keep up to all the new developments. All this, in a world that took 30,000 years to discover flight, nuclear fission, etc, etc. Einstein said, with all that's out there, how could we not believe in life somewhere else in space. What really puts me off, are the number of women reporting the intimate examinations of their reproductive systems by these aliens. Think about it, aliens who have the technology to travel through space, and they still can't figure out the female reproductive system. If some grey skinned guy with big eyes and no mouth puts a shingle up saying he/it is a gynecologist, don't go. Seriously, the advances in technology are what has scared the hell out of me. Attention seeking nuts are detracting from what I think may or may not be a serius matter. What about others who have seen this explosion in technology from a technical viewpoint.
