Lizzie Cornish The BBC Board (148* d) RE: The BBC Board 06 Mar 07

Thank you for explaining Blowz... :0)

Oh right...but er...Show of Hands encourage EVERYONE to record their gigs...all the time....Not only that but they tell people it's perfectly OK to copy their CDs and share them around with others if they want to.

I'm afraid I'm an even worse person than you all already tell me I am then...because I DO record gigs. Without being able to hear people singing live I couldn't resurrect what I heard and saw, so exactly in my words.

I wished I HAD been able to record Bob's gig, because I'd have written far more than I did....As it was, the old kohl pencil on the serviette, gave up the ghost rather quickly (bit like the BBC board) ;0)...sorry..couldn't resist that one....chuckle!

Bob's on Britfolk as well this week folks...for anyone who's interested..

Any gig I record I can instantly 'see' in my head again. It's not just the songs and the words in between that it brings back, but every gesture and emotion too..not only of the performer, but of the crowd too and the appearance of the venue, lights, smells etc, where I saw it all happen. It just goes with the dyslexic kind of brain pattern that I have...that's all. Pictures...it's all about pictures...and the way the music brings those pictures out..

People have never believed me when I've kept on and on about that...but that's why I write, because I 'see' songs...I 'see' music...far more than I 'hear' it...It's instantly translated into pictures...and those pictures bring on a thousand others that spill out all over the place...

I've decided to copy all my posts from the BBC board, as I've a feeling nothing may be there shortly at all...of anybody's....and I never saved anything, just wrote it and posted it. I truly wish I could remove every single post I've ever put on there actually...take the whole darn lot away..

Rub it out...and pretend it never happened...That way, you'd all be happy..the BBC would be happy...and I would be left with a mountain of words about a music that I love and that means so much to me..that I could take away to people who want to read them.

My words don't belong with the BBC anymore. They don't belong with Ralph or his pals....

But..they belong to me. And none of you will ever be able to take my words from me...or to take my memories or my enjoyment or my love of this music away, no matter how hard you all try...

Apparently, according to the BBC, in their email to me this evening...I've now been 'taunting' their mods and other posters! ????????? I suppose that's a slight improvement on being accused of threatening and harrassing them, like they said last time.
I'm hoping, in their next email, that they might actually say that I'm being incredibly reasonable after the way the BBC has behaved so appallingly towards me...

Ever the optimist me! :0)

Heck I've posted PURELY about folk music these past few days..and nowt else. I've asked them to send me these 'taunting' posts as fast as they can...but as always, I'll not hear a thing...They also threatened me with their Investigations Dept AGAIN....and AGAIN I pleaded with them to send them round....I have the kettle on for them all ready and waiting...

'Tis all VERY strange!

Still, hopefully, when they send me to The Tower, I'll be able to still listen to Folkwaves and Britfolk, whilst gathering like-minded spirits around me for The Music Rebellion, when we shall march upon Broadcasting House and Bring BACK The Music! :0) And I shall scratch my words about the beautiful music that Mick and Lester play, on the walls of my cell....so that all trapped souls who stay in that cell will know that somewhere out there, there is a music that is beautiful and that means something...and who knows..perhaps one day, they'll go looking for it....
