Well Ralph, no need to worry any more about your 'threatening' consequences is there.

There's no point in me writing anything about anyone anymore. Anything I write you'll destroy, in your own way, or get removed, or work hard to get me banned, by kicking up such a fuss.

So from now on, the folk world can sing to it's heart delight. Safe in the knowledge that I'll no longer write about the music that I love.

The words I have written you'll never take away from me, as I said above. But I'll write no more words, because I am sick to death of the petty, spiteful, narrow-minded, unwelcoming world that I have had the great misfortune to come across in the English Traditional world in particular.

It is beyond all reason why I have had to endure what I've had to endure, only all of you know that. Whether it's down to jealousy of artists who have 'made it' I know not..

But keep your world.

Keep it small

Keep it locked up

Keep it away from young people

Keep your rules

Keep your regulatoins

Keep your negativity

Keep your moaning

Keep your threats

I want no more part of it...ever.

I'll write only with one person from now on. And that person is someone who cares deeply about folk music, indeed about all types of music, far more than most of you could even begin to touch. That person has not an ounce of spite around them, only support and love and positivity. They have a spirit that is open and welcoming, not one that is bitter and twisted...

So...I shall leave you ALL to YOUR world.
