Impartial posters????????

Oh purleeeze!

Please read what I said about not caring a hoot if people like or dislike Show of Hands or anyone else. Even one of the Moaning Minnies has said that he understands that...However, you truly have had to have walked a mile in my moccasins to understand all of this! And you also need to understand about the way Show of Hands have been treated, please read previous posts about Folk on Tap etc...

I presume, as you know I use Smilies, that you also followed my posts on the BBC board. Hmmmmmmm..impartial??? Methinks your Moaning Minnie tattoo is showing.

The Moaning Minnies are not just the people who are almost at times, breathtakingly rude about musicians, whoever they may be, but they are the ones who continually have tried to get me to write in the way they dictate, to NOT use Smilies, to not be humourous, to be horrendously politically correct, to basically abide by 'their' rules.

I have no rules...please see the BBC 'Freedom and Dictators' thread for that one. I never tell them how to write, what to write about, when, how often, whether to Smiley or not to smiley...I couldn't give a Non-Flying Duck whether they started a thread once a year or 16 times a day....Nope!

But I will not be fenced in by control freaks! I was never personally rude about anyone's life or outlook, other than Diane and and a certain someone else, who I'll no longer drag in, whilst they were all continually rude to me....Well...now they've had a dose of their own medicine...

And perhaps they may stop and think, that it's bad enough when just one person is rude to you, isn't it Chris...but just imagine when you are the one person, surrounded by a gang of people who look upon Lizzie Bashing as almost a National Sport.

Sorry Chris....in my book, you deserved every word of what I said. If you can't take it back, then don't give it out! I've held back for years with some of your comments..yet I have never said anything unpleasant to you ever...

Oh...and the Miss Honey Teachers are a blessing and a deep rarity.

However, they should be cloned...because all children need Miss Honey's in their lives. Sadly, many of our kids get Miss Trunchbull, my kids included. In 10 years of schooling my daughter had ONE teacher who was truly wonderful! He had been a circus performer, he was a 'natural teacher'.....He held those children in the palm of his hand....he made learning magic you see...He sprinkled it all with stardust, whilst knowing exactly how to deal with all the children, even the troubled ones (note I did not use the word trouble'some' there)He liked children and they knew it and because they felt appreciated and liked, they responded so well to him.....Mr. Meek was only at the school for 9 months, before the control freak of a headmaster got rid of him, because he would not teach in the manner he was told to! He loathed that headmaster...as did I. The only good thing about him was that he taught me to finally be assertive, when he told me my daughter would never set the world alight!

I explained to him with many verbal !!!!!!!'s that it was HIS JOB to ensure that every child BELIEVED they could set the world ablaze in one way or another! He did more damage, to more children, than I have ever known! It took years to get rid of him...YEARS!

She was also told by her art teacher that her work was crap! (Teacher's word)...She nearly gave up on life! And THAT is when I took her out of school and realised that I was surrounded by people who didn't give a damn about my child or anyone else's....All in the name of education! She put down her brushes for two YEARS! It took one hell of a lot of hard work to get her to pick them up again...but pick them up again she did!

My daughter...entirely self-taught, with no rules or regulations....

So if I write 3,000 words when I hear George singing 'Anytown' which tells of our nation's Lost Children...or if I write reams about 'Roots' and about how so many youngsters have no idea who they are or where they're from anymore...THAT is where it comes from!

And tell me? Did it REALLY matter? Hmmm...did it? Now that all of this is over...Did it REALLY Matter? This wasn't about Smilies or length of posts or anything else, other than control!

But relax...for there'll be no more 3,000 words...no matter who comes out with what song....there'll be no more ANYTHING.

...apart from the sound of the selfish Moaning Minnies wailing in the distance..."We don't deserve this...we don't!"

Well actually....they do.
