"Annuzza Bedda" means "Beautiful (bedda) little Anna (Annuzza). The first two words are Cridi, cridi, not Criri criri. Believe, believe, beautiful little Anna, that the world is a window, from whichever way you face it: whatever passes never returns again. If you laugh in the red sun it reflects in your mouth. When you cry, my love, in heaven, even God cries. And tonight the air is fine there's a breeze from the sea and the moon has climbed in heaven . . . Sleep, daughter and take flight. Sleep, sleep, beautiful little Anna for the world is a cruel one. There's evil there, and there's virtue: When you grow up, you'll be there, too. Ange Coniglio ConiglioFamily@aol.com
