Now and again you are witness to a truly fantastic musical experience and over the years this has been the case for myself on a few occassions, performances that leave a lasting impression. "Bela Fleck and the Flectones" has got to be up there with the best. This guy is an amazing muscician and banjo player, his technique is awesome with a style that embraces Bluegrass, Folk, Jazz and Classical. Their tours are rare and the gig at the Shepherd's Bush Empire this year (2007) was the only night they did in England, I'm glad to say it was a sell out. If you have not heard of Bela Fleck do yourelf a favour and look him up.
