Breaking old habits is hard to do. My suggestion is to try a technique you know nothing about. If you never finger-pick, learn it. If you haven't tried jazz chords, learn some. Switch to classical, Hawaiian slack-key, bottle-neck, whatever is so far outside your norm that you have to stop the old stuff and learn the new. If that doesn't work totally, it will at least widen your horizons. Bob
