I have a (cheapo) CD called something like the Dubliners Greatest Hits, the usual sort of thing with cheap CDs, in that the content could hardly be described as their greatest stuff. But there are some good songs and tunes on it, as you would expect, given they didn't do any rubbish (to my knowledge). Anyway, on the CD is a version of "Scorn Not His Simplicity" and I wondered who was singing it. Although the vocalist has an Irish accent, he doesn't sound like Luke's normal vocal style - but was it him, singing in a more 'pop' style than usual, or was it someone else (it doesn't sound like Ronnie Drew, I know that!)? Does anyone know the CD in question? I'll try to dig out the details if I can.
