I have Verizon's DSL, the thrifty, not-too-speedy $15 version but it's no quicker than my Verizon dial-up was. Installation and billing were nightmares and it doesn't work all that well - and I work for the company - despite being well within the distance limitations. We're supposed to have FiOS by the end of the year and I'll switch then. Meantime, I'll do my shopping on the office T1 connection. Verizon, Comcast, they're all going to have some irritating problems but that's life.
