H-P B, I'm using a Dean Pace Bass. Although its not an acoustic, I find it has a great sound and and its compact. I've used it in a wide variety of styles plus recording and it hasn't disappointed me. I combine it with a small (30W) amp. I put Fender Black Wrap Strings on the it for a sweet acoustic tone. Amp in one hand And Bass in the other,I'm not breaking my back either. Goldtone makes a nice upright electic also. Cheers Dave
