OK, I don't think of Lambert, Hendricks and Ross as folk, either, but Mudcat has, so, diluted the meaning of "folk" that they, surely, qualify. If blues is folk, so is jazz. (No one would have balked if I said Joni Mitchel but she sang "Twisted", not as well as Annie Ross, but you had to give her an A for effort)
Oh, allright, if you don't want them to be "folk", a'bi gzindt, but weren't they terrific?
