That is what is so wonderful about this song. All of us sang it in school or somewhere a long time ago. It was a Richard A. Whiting song and sung by Bing Crosby. Correct! That is why it is in the public domain and Billye Mullins Smith only has a thin copyright on it for changing the words Morning Glories to Orange Blossoms. However, with the added lyrics to make it have 3 verses and the catchy tune, it could really replace the current offensive state song that can't be sung in schools. The melody would sound great by an orchestra too. So lets all get behind it so that something new that has no history is adopted. The kids that are working on it will be changed forever.
