GUEST,tolerance BS: Keith Richards snorted his Dad's ashes! (96* d) RE: BS: Keith Richards snorted his Dad's ashes! 04 Apr 07

If Keef abuses himself as much as as the 'tabloids' and sensational media espouses, I think he'd be dead by now. Another artist attacked in such a manner is Bob Dylan who himself has admitted to playing that up to the press and public.

As you mentioned mick, "knowing spaws" background, I certainly don't know spaw at all, but my interpretation of him here here in the Cat is one that is crude and somewhat arrogant. Someone I wouldn't let past my door based on this alone. I do not judge him completely because of his actions here in the Cat for If I knew him personally, then I would have a true impression of him and who knows, I'd invite him into my abode without hesitation.

It cannot be denied Keef is well respected by his peers of musicians, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Concerning his father is who abandoned him at an early age, Keef searched him out and looked after him until his death. He is a decent father who has cared much for his children. Family is important to him and that deserves some respect of him as a human being in this day and age. I'm not raising him to the platform of a hero. Far too many people have been honored as such, so much so, it has cheapened it's true meaning.
