I started this thread to inform people that the Maze was being torn down and I for one am glad to see the back of it. I had two very good friends locked up inside that hell hole. Both of them were arrested without charge and interned without trial. Just luck of the draw. Was that happening elsewhere in Britain at the time? I suppose, using the logic of a few posters above that makes them terrorists. One had a heart condition and wasn't allowed access to a doctor nor were his family allowed to bring his medication to the prison. He was incarcerated without charge for two weeks and died of a heart attack during the weekend of the third week.I started the thread because I felt that others may be interested in the demolition of this piece of history. I tend to stick to threads where I can make a somewhat informative contribution. Its certainly not my style to engage in mudslinging without provocation. However if provoked its not my style either to stand idly by.
