GUEST,Marti Lyr Req: Sundown (1930's radio theme) (13) RE: Lyr Req: Lyrics to Sundown 1930's radio theme 26 Mar 00

Thanks everyone for your interest in helping! The lyrics are (with help from my father and a friendly e-mail from a kind stranger):

Every little breeze is sighing of love undying at sundown.
Every little bird is resting and feather-nesting at sundown.
Each little rosebud is sleeping, while shadows are creeping.
In a little cottage cozy, the world seems rosy at sundown.
Where a loving ma will meet me and always greet me at sundown.
I seem to sigh, I'm in heaven, when night is falling and love is calling me home.

Is this the same song by Bascom Lamar Lunsford or George and Gerry Armstrong? If so, can you give me the record labels? My dad would like to buy the record for "posterity." He lives on a 2 acre "ranch" that he has named Sundown in memory of his father's radio show.

Marti
