Moreover the gate guards will almost certainly have ties to the various militias and we're going to let them decide who goes in and out. Well, that smells highly rotten. This can't be true. We're not going to turn Baghdad into walled-in gulags. Those Sunnis are essentially in a concentration camp now with the Shiites surrounding them. You can fire mortars and grenades into it and they're sitting ducks. We're going back to medieval times.
