Oh dear, I must be disturbed. I keep firearms for dealing with pests and for filling the pot. As a result my stock and vegetable garden go largely unmolested and my freezer has venison, pigeon, rabbit and duck in it. That said, I have no desire to own a pistol, and neither do I see any need for a semi-auto firearm of any kind unless the owner has a registered disability. And I certainly have no wish to live in a society where just about anyone could get hold of such weapons. The UK gun laws allow me to do what I need to do, and that's fine by me.
