From that last post; It sounds like your action is too deep/high - possibly a 'setup' at a music store will help. My fingertips aren't overly broad either, but the Fender acoustic I play is a steel-string and has a fingerboard that is on the narrow side. However, I am planning on buying a Maton later this year - for a richer sound which will better compliment the music I prefer to play. Slainte Muttley
