Got home from the San Diego Folk Festival last night to find an email from Allen Larman with the sad news of Howard's passing. Oddly, that very afternoon Mike Seeger and Lou Curtiss and I had been sitting in S.D. talking about Howard and his health and hoping that things were improving. Sincere condolences to the entire Larman family; I understand that Roz intends to continue the show with help from Peter Cutler and Allen, both of whom are veterans of the program. She says as much on the program's web site at www.folkscene.com - sorry, I don't know how to make a clicky.
