Any UK 'catters' know of any shops (second-hand or music) in York where I may purchase an open-back 5 string banjo. I dont want (cant afford) to pay too much at this moment as I dont know if I will get away with it. I want to use it to accompany my voice on 'old time' songs. Some Ozarks I have seen look OK for a beginner. I may be visiting York in a couple of weeks & it may be a chance to 'take the plunge'.
