I seem to recall a certain fellow called Musgrave going to church for reasons other than divine worship (I know what you're going to say - "yeah, and look what happened to him!"). I've had many best moments, but the one that has stayed with me is the first time I ever heard traditional singing. I, a dyed-in-the-wool rock freak, was persuaded to visit the Old Blue Bell in Hull one night (HQ of the Watersons). It was spell-binding. Things would never be the same again.
