I live in the Pacific Northwest. Many years ago there was a young man by the name of Dave (I can't recall his last name just now.) who was hanging around the open mics here in Seattle. He was originally from your area (Madison) and was a fine writer, picker and singer who offered listeners a couple of cassette recordings of his original songs.

I always wanted to learn one of his songs called , "Be Good To Your Momma". That would make an excellent addition to any Mother's Day playlist. I'll see if my friend JW has that one on hand. JW runs the open stage at Murphy's Pub. That was where I'd bump into Dave. I understand that JW has one of Dave's recordings but I don't know if it contains that song. I'll check and let you know more info when I find out.
