Two of my three sons and my daughter-in-almost-law came over with a dozen roses, some fine Swiss chocolate and flowers for my garden. They cheered me up (was having a lousy morning till they got here!), mowed my acre of lawn (or rather, meadow), filled the holes in my driveway, helped me plant the new flowers and remove a couple dead shrubs, let me to pics and videos of them with my brand new digital camera, helped me figure out how to upload said pics onto the computer (never did that before), shared a few howls over those videos!! and accompanied me over to MY mom's for more gift-giving and a delicious turkey dinner.

And my carless (but not careless) youngest son, who lives out of town and unfortunately had to work grave this weekend phoned to wish me happy mother's day early in the afternoon.

Ahhhhh   life is good    and kids are THE BEST!!! Hope every other mom out there had a wonderful day too!
