I gave up the job at 5:00am. Leaving one car with 2 troopers inside. At 9:00am I awoke and same car still there. Went in to take a quick shower & darn it--the street is empty. ANYTHING could have happened-including the neighbor going out on a gurney.

The fellow's cat is wandering around as he did all night. I'm thinking he must have passed away--and there is probably a (New York) regulation that they must guard the body.

It just makes no sense if it was a normal passing to have so much manpower wasted.
What was the lone cop doing in there for hours?

You all had some very interesting & funny ideas. I'll report in again.    I'm worn out! Being nosey is hard work.
