GUEST,Canberra Chris Shiny Bum Singers in S of England 2007 (82* d) RE: Shiny Bum Singers in S of England 2007 21 May 07

The assembled Bums are at the excellent internet facilities at Theale library, near Reading. Additional news is that performance on 29 May is confirmed for Surrey County Council staff at County Hall in Kingston.

Regarding discussion of Toast Song above, the first Australian to take the song to UK was Helen Wright, who asked for the words for that purpose in 1998, when I had been so generously invited to join on stage to peform it 'The Living Tradition' lineup of Queensland worthies. The Mudcat request may of course have come later from Lynne Stone.
