Well that's interesting! I thought that the origin of "Dueling Banjos" was "Feudin' Banjos" originally done in 1951 by banjo player Arthur Smith. My old guitar teacher together with Arthur for a long time. Many people agree, including me, and Arthur himself, that his tune "Fuedin' Banjos" was what "Duelling Banjos" was adapted from.
