l remember from living in a pub in the 60's, in Abingdon Oxon a song the older men used to sing. lt went something like this. l wish l were back home in Berkshire where all they birds do flock round l. l claps my hands & l laughs like buggery & all they birds do fly away. Where be that blackbird to, l know where he be, he be up in yonder tree, & l be after he. The rest l cannot remember but l'm sure there is someone out there, maybe from Abingdon that can.
