  There was every thing done to enliven the scene
  Each hand did play merrily "God save the Queen"
  Every house was deck'd with laurel so green
  
  On the day of our Queen's Coronation,

  Now the poor of the land it is glorious to hear
  Did have roast beef and plumb pudding, old English cheer
  And our Queen they did toast in full tankards of beer
  
  Our Queen, like her Mother, it must be confess'd 
  Is always the first to relieve the distress'd
  And the orphan and widow for ever will bless 
  
  You may talk of Queen Bess likewise of Queen Ann
  But in history match our Young Queen if you can
  For the good of her subjects she'll do all she can
  
  So bless our young Queen's coronation, 
  Victoria for ever, huzza!
  
  From the Great Magna Charta our Queen will not part
  Nor let her subjects be stung by oppression's foul dart
  For the meanest of Britons has a place in her heart
  So welcome our Queen's Coronation,
