In the mid 60s, there was a duo from Exeter who performed songs by the then unknown Paul Simon at clubs in the West Country. One of this duo was John Remsbury (can't remember the other)and they gave the impression that they knew him and his songs from regular contact. I've never forgiven Paul Simon for not turning up when he was booked to appear at the Wemouth Folk Club in 1965.
