Can anyone remember exactly what year the 1st Christchurch Festival was? I was reminded of it by the thread on the song The Mallard, that I first heard sung by George Deacon & Marian Ross at Christchurh at a song swap way back when?. Malcolm Price was there too - is he still around? Sadly, George has given up singing regularly, but now resides in the Oxford area, and still has a lot to do with John Clare and his work.
