I suspect the author of this quiz has never been to the west coast in his/her life. It rated me as "midland", an area I have not frequented.
I was an army brat, and traveled. As a child, I was told that I sounded like my British grandfather at times. I am usually good at accents, and can generally always tell a west coast accent. It is definitely not the same as the midlands. I think the questioner would have needed different examples to get the difference.
His/her questions were easier for me to answer than those of some of the other accent quizzes.
BTW, I have never rhymed "car" and "war". Have you?
