I came out as Midland, which, in my case I suspect really means "pulled in forty directions at once". My mother's from New Jersey (worked hard to un-learn a heavy South Jersey accent), my dad's from Iowa (no accent at all), and I grew up in Pennsylvania (??), Colorado (no accent) and Texas (many regional accents).

I know, though, that my vocabulary is slowly becoming Texan-ized even if the influence hasn't yet reached my accent.
