Texas guest, thanks .. I think ... I guess what you're saying is that nursing homes have shallow enough pockets that nobody is going to bother them... The reason I asked was that there are organizers around here who keep out of trouble with the agencies by allowing strictly only performer-written, trad and/or pd music to be performed. I wondered how the nursing centers fit in to the scheme, is all. Details of how the royalty agencies work and whether/why to join would belong in another thread, but anyone can read enough on the ASCAP and BMI sites to get the general idea. -Glenn
