On a boat, on the Grand Union Canal in Middlesex UK. 10 minutes from Heathrow airport and 3 major motorways. Sounds like hell until you look out over the tree surrounded lake at the bottom of the garden and watch the wild birds, foxes and hedgehogs all going about their sometimes noisy business. Copulating wildfowl are incredibly noisy especially at 6 in the morning!
