Does anybody have the words to Where Is that Freedom Tain? It apparantly is a labor protest song, but I am not sure of the folksinger(s) that recorded it. its sounds rather 60ish from what I remember of it. The first verse was: I think I'll stop and rest awhile, God knows, how many miles, These weary feet have walked, Sinced you and I first talked. So many memories remain. Do you recall the old campaign? Chorus: What did we see, from Sea to Shining Sea, Did all those voices say, Somthing we don't hear today Where is that freedom train that brought us down the track Before we had to look back, to recall the old campaign. Second verse: blah, blah, blah, do, do, do, do do, Sweat shop and union halls Before people heard the call Farmers on midwestern plains Hobos on the midnight train. I remember some but not all of this song but would appreciate any help to retrieve the missing parts. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
