whoops, i'll try that again. How great this is to find such a large forum topic on my grandma! After listening to the CBC radio show with my 2girls (Vera's great-granddaughters)I realized what a big impact she has been in the folk world. I'm very proud of my Grandma Vera! As my daughter said, "She's famous mommy!" Just to clear up a couple of things. Vera is in Chemainus, not Ladysmith. She has family come to see her often. Including her 3 daughters, sister, nieces, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. My mom mentioned that Vera would love to have members of the folk guild visit her there. So please feel free to stop in and see her! Cheers, Monique
