Campsite is on high ground, beautiful setting, lots of trees. Among/near to grounds originally belonging to the Piercefield house pierce field house The town itself is on a quickly sloping hill, so most of the water runs down towards the river, with a few problems but not really for long at all. Wellies sufficient. There was a spot of flash flooding, but it didn't last for long - and affected a few parts of town recently. Sandbags are out, and at the moment there's not much to worry about. It is supposedly going to be a good weekend for the weather. Lots of indoor events so no probs
