I remember my parents throwing me up and catching me..
not very high or anything, but enough that I was frightened.
the second early memory being in a stroller and being shown off by my mom, to some of her friends.. One woman who looked down at me and cooed
was blond and beautiful, and I remember thinking 'gee I wish that was my mother'.

Of course Ive never told my mom that story, no-one could take her place anyway.. I have to young daughters right now - one who is 2 1/2 and the other is 7months and often wonder how much theyll remember. Maia the younger one already has quite a lot of awareness - especially of people and objects around her. And Anna the older one speaks in full sentences and is intensely aware of the world around her- She points out planes before any of us hears them (or pays attention to the sound) as well as a number of other things such as clothing or shoes one is wearing.
